Lions Bring Giraffe Down in the Road After Hanging on Its Tail

Rialize Joubert had stopped to take a photo of the sunrise when she saw a giraffe. The next moment, there were 3 lions, one on each side and the male lion hanging onto the back of the giraffe. That was when she realized that they were going to try to take down the giraffe. When it ran into the road, she saw its front left leg was broken and knew that there was little hope for the giraffe.

One of the most amazing sightings I’ve  seen the way the lion was clinging onto the giraffes leg , poor giraffe had a broken leg which made the job much easier for the lions even though it looks as though it fell on its own due to its unfortunate injury , great video of nature at its finest, thanks for sharing.

I used to feel bad for the “prey” animals and always rooted for them but then I went to S. Africa and we saw this hyena that was skin and bones and obviously starving and I felt sorry for it. We followed it for a while and we were hoping that it would find an antelope or gazelle to eat. I was rooting for the predator this time. Sadly we lost track of it but the odds weren’t in its favor. Circle of life! Survival of the fittest! It’s all part of nature!
